I woke up early in the morning and noticed my xbox one power light flashing and wont respond to voice commands or pressing the power button any suggestions?

Mine was the same this morning and the only way around it was to hard reset it and all back to normal.

Have this happen every so often when I power off with controller or voice (don't know about hitting the console though, don't power off that way). JUST started a little over a week ago. Controller stays on while unplugged, Kinect powers on and off at random. Was able to eject disc, but nothing else worked other than pulling the power cord. No other issues with the console..... I are worried.

I just updated my Xbox One and I was sitting watching the light flash and found this post about this and while reading, the Xbox One shut down by it self and restarted.. So do not shut it down yourself, because you might mess the update up!! If shutting down worked for you, you got lucky.. Think about it, if this was a Windows update, you need to wait for it to restart your computer and sometimes you have to wait for a little while before it turns back on. This is normal for it to do the update correctly.
If you have Auto Update On then, you may have this happen right after you get up in the morning. Your time zone may have the update set for the morning.
I turned off my auto update and when I turn on my Xbox One it tells me I have to update. It may be just me, but I like to see how much an update is and how long it takes for my update to finish. This is just my brain at work.. lol
