Questions about the Play and Charge kit

Hi guys, I am just wondering how long does it takes the play and charge kit the very first time to charge the battery, because the manual said it will take up to 8 hours, but my battery finished charging only about a hour after I plugged in, and still quickly turns green after a few plugs and pulls, the battery is okay at the moment, I just want to ask if this is normal, the manual said it might take 3 to 5 full charge cycles to get the battery's full capacity, does that actually affect the charge time? and is it better if I charge the battery after it's all drained or any time I want. Thanks in advance for any answers :D 

It is always wise to drain your battery before charging it again, as it will allow you to gain the most out of using your battery pack! If you want you can charge it when ever you want to, it will not per say, give you any negative effects or lessen your gaming experience.

Listen to what your manual says though. You may be experience funky charging sessions because it may take 3 to 5 full charging sessions to let the battery reach full charging capability. It is normal, not extraterrestrial. :D
