Nat Type Strict Please help

most NAT issue are related to your internet service provider, try another modem

Are you opening the ports on a specific IP address and if you are make sure that's the static ip your using.

You cant have your 360 and one on the same IP.

You will have to open the ports a second time stating the IP address for the Xbox One.

So in fact you will have two sets of ports for two separate Static IP's

yes i have a static IP for xbox one - and im opening the ports for that specific IP . i dont know what else to try.

try another modem... not much of an answer havent got a hundred quid to just try another modem

the modem worked fine with xbox live on the 360 and was OPEN NAT all the time

Hi i am having the same problems on a BT HH5. Moderate nat and also download and upload speeds are dsl speeds i am on fibre optic broadband.  I tried an older BT Hub with gave my back my speeds of 75 mbps down and 17 upload, but my nat is still moderate.  Went back to new HH5 router and speeds are single figures and mod nat.  Tried a reset to factory settings on router and still the same problems.  Thing is both routers worked perfectly fine on 360.  Anyone any ideas.  Tnx

Do you live in a built up area?

Is your router throwing out a wireless signal?

If so, I think you should switch the firewall back on or risk getting locked out of your own internet connection.

My nat is moderate.

Na mine is moderate too on BT Broadband , HH4. It has too be a microsoft issue as never had moderate nat type ever until i got this xbox one. Frustrating.

my nat was on strict through virgin yesterday I got hold of them direct and they sorted it out over the phone,the only problem is now although everything is open I still get kicked out of xbox live partys and games

Same here no probs ever on the 360 but now have strict nat on the xbox one I have spent hours already tying to fix it!!!!!!!
