my mate just got credit banned on halo reach and he needs help

yesterday my mate got credit banned and he doesnt know why. it says he is temp banned but he is annoyed because he hasn't done anything wrong. he needs help

I'm going to take a wild guess and say he was doing something. Probably boosting. It's a temp ban, go play something else till its lifted.

he wasn't boosting he got all the daily challenges yesterday in one game plus the 3000 in the slot machine

I think it's a bit over the top that they revoked his telephone and banned him from the entire internet as a result.

im sure he will get over it. Pretty sure they ban you if you go afk (it is like boosting) ,must be a reason why they dont do it for fun!!.

Bungie dont do bans without course or reason, clearly if you are building enough credits up daily to be noticed and banned you are doing something wrong....boosting, cheating or whatever

those who plead innocence online rarely are

Unless of course its on their forums where reasons for a bans can include

"disagreeing with a moderator via PM message"

"Banned for spamming in a thread" (A thread I'd never seen in my life and there was no posts by me in it )

"Because you deserved it"

"Because went to another moderator to dispute the ban I placed on you"
