modded controllers no rule breaking if there are

Who is saying you can't? Modded controllers are a grey area and  are a possible ban able offense if caught. Getting banned for using one is rare as they can be difficult to detect though. They are frowned apone in alot of gaming communities competitive or casual as it makes the game easier for you and makes it an unfair advantage to your fellow gamers that play without modifications.

Also alot of game developers eventually patch and block the mods from working so they are eventually a waste of money. If you want to use one by all means but don't come crying if your new expensive modified controller gets its mods blocked.

I agree you should be banned  :)  Nobody forced the purchase of a modded controller.

I'm sorry, but OP's argument is flawed. First off, people buy things for cars to make them run better, people buy clothes to make themselves look better, these things don't affect others at all. Modded controllers in multiplayer games gives the user an unfair advantage. Sorry, but you should be banned for using them. As long as you use the modded controller in single player, I'm all for it, they had modded controllers since the NES days, but don't use modded controllers in multiplayer games.

I agree Dr Black Bones for personal use fair enough but as soon as multiplayer comes into the equation it isn't exactly fair for the other gamers.

Modded controllers where never the problem it was the fact there were bugs in games that allowed things to happen as fast as you could press a button.

People getting suspended or banned from Live! was when this was posted as a known problem waiting to be patched it fell under the using a known glitch in a game which is against the Live terms of service. All this was 99% Call of Duty games and Activision taking so long to fix a simple bug in a game. Activision Call of Duty on the consoles is pretty much a hack fest for all but the their latest entry from hacked consoles that really need to be banned from PSN and Xbox Live completely.

Pretty simple answer to all CAPS. Modded controllers are CHEATING. Why is that so hard to understand??? People mention controllers like Scuf etc but remember, they do not change the play (no rapid-fire etc) they merely adjust which button you push

After ALLOT of reading....of Microsoft rules... controller MOD is not ground for permanent banning.but temp ban if enough players file full complaint....any console mods.is what like to call and I quote...THEY WILL TURN YOUR CONSOLE INTO A BRICK SO YOU CAN ONLY GET DO FAR WITH MODDED CONTROLLER AND TEMPORARY BAN THEN YOU GET BABY SAT TO MAKE SURE YOUR NOT USING IT AGAIN.....SO NO IT'S NOT WORTH IT..THANKS FOR COMMENTS BAD OR GOOD

So besides believing that people will "listen" to you more by typing in all caps you think your modded controller is OK? Very simple reason why you think that way: you AIN'T VERY GOOD without one!!!!!! Its called cheating

besides ah asking how many times you need reply about something that's old..I called x box they said it's not allowed and I just LIKE TYPING IN BOLD LETTERS AND not typing in bold letters no matter what you say next I don't care I got my answers.so no thanks for being ignorant
