I can't remember the email I used for my gamertag

I'm posting with my brother's gamertag.

About a month ago, I made a new gamertag called Kipperdance but I don't know what email I used. I have 8 emails and I logged into every single one on xbox.com but each time it told me to make another xbox gamertag. I don't have any more emails and I don't know why I can't log into Kipperdance. I have the account on my console and when I try to sign in, it tells me to enter the microsoft account and password. I only have two emails with gamertags, this one and another one called ShakerFoil46.

I tried going to xbox.com/forgot but the options don't help me because I tried every email I know, the problem is that I don't know what email is used for my gamertag. I probably misspelled the email address?

Is there something else that I can do? Is there someone who can help me, somebody official, or do I have to call a number? I prefer not to make phone calls.

You'll have to contact phone support. If you're able to confirm your identity, you should be able to get your account back in no time.

I don't think that will help me because I don't have a clue which email I used, when creating my emails I don't put in real information, I make it up, so if I tell them what I think it could be, and it's wrong, I'm screwed.

If you used a credit card to your account support may be able to help you, otherwise I think you're going to be forced to re-create an account.

It's possible you mis-spelt the email at account creation. The MSA (especially if you used an email other than Microsoft) is just the face of the account. People can do comcast.com (when it's really comcast.net) or .cm instead of .com, etc. The only way Xbox Support can provide you with your correct MSA is if you provide ALL the information on file, and you have either a CC on file or a security question. If you never set up a security question (or can't answer it) and don't have a CC on file they will not have enough information to provide you with the MSA.  I know this from experience, my fiance created his account back when you were forced to have a hotmail email so it gave him one that we promptly forgot. Got a new console and couldn't move the profile because the original red-ringed. So when I called support they advised me for security purposes they needed everything. I had to do some digging since the account was so old but I was able to get it. Since your account is newer hopefully you'll be able to gain it back.

ALSO if you put any fake information in there you need to remember what that was. That's what I mean by verifying the account information with them. In case anyone else reads this because they have the same problem, if you put sjdafh nuebnv as the name of the account they are not going to be able to help you with providing that information. Technically it's violating ToU to do that too. Anyway just a side note for other people. To update your name on the account you sign into xbox.com and edit billing contact information, this is completely seperate from your credit/debit card info.

To the person who says make another one: I hadn't upgraded to gold yet, it's still a free account, so that won't help. I really like the name, I'd prefer to have it. If I could figure out how to erase a gamertag, I would make another Kipperdance. Deleting a profile off a console isn't a permanent solution, right? The account still exists.

About the misspelling: I had thought that was the initial problem. I know which email I would have used, but when I logged into xbox.com using that same email, it made me make another gamertag, so I thought I used another email, which isn't the case. I used a hotmail, recently upgraded to outlook. I know my information on that email, plus I still remember my bio on the gamertag, so I hope that could help too. I think I have no other option other than to call, which is my biggest pet peeve. Thanks.

Hey there Sy! For any forgotten login information, please start with http://xbox.com/forgot. If that doesn't help you, contacting us via phone or chat as Karza suggested would be your next best bet. Let us know how it goes, thanks!

Thanks for all the suggestions, but I just made another Kipperdance account, changing my ShakerFoil46 gamertag to Kipperdance II. If the email's no good, I guess I'll start over. Luckily I hadn't done too much in that account!

Just so others know having a valid credit card option on the account isn't going to allow support to tell you which email is attached. They can cancel a subscription no problem without being able to verify the account, but if you can't verify the fake/old information that was put in there you will not be provided the WLID.
