Help lease re playing with friends

Hi all, I am new to xbox and trying to play games online with one of my friends.

I can play unknown people online, but just not with this friend. 

I have the ports open which Xbox say to have open on this site as does my friend, who can play with their friends. Both of us have open NAT. But always get the message come up "unable to connect" when trying to play a game together.

Anyone have any other suggestions to make this work? I only have this one friend so maybe someone could add me and we could see if we can play something?

I'm trying to play kinect sports.

Can both you and your friend try wiring directly to the modem, to see if that allows you to play a game together over LIVE?

Hi, we have tried both using wired connection and still doesn't work!

I've found out through searching that we are both on same ISP, Orange and there is a problem with them which does not allow orange to orange connections =(
