GAME.co.uk Pre-orders

I'd say that you'd stand a good chance of getting it on Thursday.

I fancy the extra DLC case and i have a bunch of reward points to cash in. I would normally use shopto but their site seems to blow up my IE7 (works browser of choice) everytime i try to access it and the shopto app on my iphone is also complete rubbish :-S

My copy of brink from them arrived last wednesday. You will get it Thursday/Friday more than likely.

Next day delivery is like a fiver though....if it isnt likely to turn up early then i might as well just go in store on friday

Always use game.co.uk and have received every game a day early apart from the major releases.  Hoping my copy of la noire will arrive thursday.

Penny, do you pay the fiver extra for express delivery or do you just go with the standard option?

I always go for the standard delivery with GAME, and always get my games a day early, the last ones being Black Ops and Shift 2, both of which arrived on the Thursday morning.

Never use the £5 delivery its totally unnecessarily and a rip off...

Game standard delivery is usually fine & the majority of times you will receive your game on Thursday if the release should be Friday, Tuesday releases almost always arrive on Tuesday though.  If you're really lucky you can get the game on Wednesdays but I've only had that happen perhaps twice.

Most prices on the website are cheaper than in store also, alongside that pre-ordering via game.co.uk actually makes their reward points useful as you will usually receive double or triple your standard points.

Personally I pre-order anything I can and it's almost always via game.co.uk unless a special edition I prefer is exclusive to another store. (Assassins Creed II - Black Edition was play.com exclusive whereas the "lesser" White Edition was on game.co.uk, just as an example.)

Does anyone know when game put up their new trade in offers on the site ?? Im hoping for a trade portal 2 in and get LA Noire for £5 deal.
