Disable party chat during xbox live

party chat is the best thing to happen to xbox live. you can talk to your friends and not have to hear those [Removed] gamers that [Removed] all the time cry. if you dont like it invite every one in the lobby to your party. see how many join.

Sorry ROAAAR but if I decide to speak to anyone outside of Party Chat, it's my choice, not yours.

There used to be banter playing, not anymore.

Why would I want to be berated and listen to yelling cursing racism in game chat. You want banter play with friends.

moaning is annoying too.

just saying.... why do you think party chat is such a good feature??

I generally play with friends in co-op, if I'm not in SP and we're always in private chat.  It just makes sense, since they are friends.  We spend the first 5 or so min. catching up on stuff.  It's like a phone call. 

I love/hate it.

I agree. Live used to be fun and vibrant. Now it's just a free for all and the party chat system encourages people to be introverts. Instead of dealing with problem users people just retreat into party chat and only venture out to make cowardly insults and then retreat again. It's pretty sad.

And yet again, the blame is with the people who ruined Game Chat, not the Party Chat Feature. What's "sad" is the way people misdirect the real issue with Game Chat.

I go into Game Chat every now and then and guess "who" I find, yep that Player that everyone hated all by himself just waiting for someone to come out of Party Chat so he can begin with the verbal tirade. It's almost good to know, he sits in quietness all alone.

[/quote] the sad thing is that their are some games that have no party chat like some of the COD games and its the same [Removed] every time you play same trash talking little {Removed]. so the only thing left to say is GOD BLESS PARTY CHAT.
