Unable to use lotus notes as default e-mail program.

Lotus Notes in Default Program List

My company uses Lotus Notes for our email client.  However, Notes does not show up in the list of Default Programs when I attempt to set it as the default in Windows 7.  How can I get it to show up in that list so I can set it properly?  Note that I have already set it in the program, but I have another application that looks to Windows for my default email, so I need it set in that list.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to follow these steps and check if it helps:

  1. Click on start, go to control panel.
  2. Go to default programs, click on set program access and computer default.
  3. Lick on custom, and under choose a default e-mail program select lotus notes.
  4. Click on yes.
