Best Antivirus for Windows 7 Home Premium

i have windows 7 Home Premium came along with my dell inspiron 15R N5110. i would like to know which is the best antivirus except security essential for my laptop.
Hi,

Aside from Microsoft Security Essentials (which is a fantastic antivirus) you have many choices. There is no such thing as the 'best' antivirus. Very good and popular antiviruses are Norton, Kaspersky, avast!, Avira, etc.

Avoid the two most popular (they are the two worst): Norton and McAfee.
 
For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32 or Kaspersky, if you are willing to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (do not run more than one antivirus program) of the following three:
 
Avira AntiVir
Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials
 
You also need anti-spyware software (even if you run a program like Microsoft Security Essentials, with anti-spyware capability built into it). I recommend that you download and install (freeware) MalwareBytes AntiMalware
