For Windows 7, can I print a listing of what is in a folder/directory? Other Microsoft apps have "File / Print" Explore is an exception. I think File Manager (Windows 3.0?) had it.

For the past decade, or so, when using various versions of Windows (Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP), when I want to print a listing of what I have in a sub-directory (or folder), I have to go to a DOS window and use the DIR command to create an ASCII listing of the contents.  Alternatively, I an try to do a screen capture -- cumbersome when the number of files exceeds the visible window.

Hi Dave

See the following article for the solution.

How to add the Print Directory feature for folders in Windows XP, in Windows Vista, or in Windows 7

Hope this helps.
