Windows Store error 0x80244007 while downloading apps

Please help me with this error... I'm getting the error 0x80244007 while downloading apps... This is very irritating... Windows 8.1 was better... At the beginning, it was working well... But after sometime, it started showing this error.. I'm trying it every day to check if Microsoft solved my error...

  • Do you remember making any specific change in the computer prior to the issue?
  • Is the issue specific to an app or any app?

Let's try the following methods and check the status:

Method 1: Clear Store cache and check.

Press Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe and press OK

Method 2: Disable proxy connection if you are using so.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

  1. Press Windows key + R, to open Run window. 
  2. Type inetcpl.cpl in the search box and click Ok. Internet Options window opens.
  3. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings
  4. Uncheck the Use Proxy server.
  5. Click Apply and Ok to save change

Method 3: Kindly refer to suggestions provided in the article below and check.

Why can't I find or install an app from the Windows Store? (information holds good for Windows 10 as well)
