Running Windows 10 Pro on a Surface Pro 3 (update from 8.1).
The Windows Update tool is stuck at 0% Downloading for the past hour with no progress. I have a number of updates due and they aren't installing.

hi i had this problem too ,and got a fix from into windows .this worked fine for me.

1=PRESS WINDOWS+R
2=PUNCHIN SERVICES.MSC
3=RIGHT CLICK WINDOWS UPDATE
4=SELECT STOP
5=GO TO FILE EXPLORER AND GO TO
C:\WINDOWS\SOFTWAREDISTRIBUTION AND DELETE ALL OF ITS CONTENTS
6=GO BACK TO STEP 1TO 3 BUT THIS TIME START THE SERVICE

I had the same issue updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I went to follow this guide and as soon as I completed Step 4, it started working. Weird!hi i had this problem too ,and got a fix from into windows .this worked fine for me.
