SharePoint Online - List / Document Library new experience have bugs

Dear Sir / Madam,

Do you also have the same issue?

When using the old experience, the Left hand side menu, shows normally as I set up in Navigation setting.

However, when change to new experience, a tab "Page not found" appears (circle in blue)

and there are more link than before (circle in red)

Why this happening?

Could anybody answer my question?

if this is a bug, could this be solved immediate?

Besides, some of my colleagues are using new experience, even the site admin force using new experience, I am still using old one? Why? Could anybody answer?

Best regards,

Ho

Answer

Hi Ho,

Our engineering team is aware of the issue and is working on it. Some changes are rolling out now but there is no ETA to the firm fix date. Customers can switch to the classic view as a workaround before the fix is deployed. Around issues modern site pages (inclusive of new document libraries, site contents, and recycle bin pages) not supporting navigation customizations, we are highly recommended to provide feedbacks via UserVoice so that our engineering team can hear your voice on this feature directly.

To let other customers who come across this thread to identify the right information easily, this thread will be closed for further posting. Below is a quick summary for your reference.

Symptom:

In modern site pages, you see "Page not found" in global and current navigation while the site navigation is set to hide.

Workaround:

Click Return to classic SharePoint at the lower left corner to go back to the classical view.

If you have any other questions feel free to post us a new thread, we will continue to assist you from there.

Regards,

Spike
