Problems when saving powepoint presentation as PDF...

Please help! I am trying to finish up a presentation for class. I am using Office/Powerpoint 2007 on a brand new laptop. I do the "save as PDF/XPS" option and it seems to save fine. When the PDF opens as it does automatically after the save, I get the error "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem". I cant figure this out. I have saved other pwerpoints as PDF's and never had this problem. All my programs are up to date as far as updates. I even tried some free "nitropro" program which is a PDF converter, and that ran for like 40 mins converting it, and then it froze up on me and was just a waste of time. Good times. Decided to just delete that Nitro **** from my computer as I was frustrated at this point. Any help would be appreciated greatly. Thanks in advance.

What version of Acrobat or Reader do you have? 

After you dismiss this error message, does the file display correctly anyway?

 

And of course: 

Have you contacted yourself, as requested by Adobe?  ;-)

 

What's different about this file vs the others you've created that don't provoke errors?  There may be some specific PPT feature that, when used, causes PPT to make a PDF that your version of Reader/Acrobat doesn't like.

Reader X then ... that should be good enough for now.

It's possible that there's something in the JPGs that's giving PPT indigestion (and it's passing that along to the PDF).

Can you post an example slide or two someplace where we can download it?

Skydrive for example?

 

And/or as a test, if you still have the original JPG files, convert them to BMP.

Delete the pics from PPT and re-add them, using the BMP filies this time.

Convert that to PDF and see if the problem still arises.
