Unable to Schedule a Microsoft Teams Meeting - Error Msg "Unable to schedule a meeting at this time. Try again later".

I have been using Microsoft Teams for years.  This last few weeks, I keep getting an error message and outlook will not let me schedule a teams meeting.

I have tried logging in and out of both microsoft and teams.  I have already tried unchecking the launch teams button in Teams settings and rechecking it, then restarting the application. Online support has not been helpful and hasn't been able to solve the problem.

Does anyone have a solutions to why I keep getting the error message "Unable to schedule a meeting at this time. Try again later" when I attempt to schedule a Teams Meeting?

Hi Donna Dillard,

Thank you for the posting in our forum community. I’m truly appreciating your cooperation in our forum community.

Regarding your description, kindly try to perform below steps, if it could be work for this thing.

If you are using Microsoft Teams desktop client application, kindly try to clear the cache of Microsoft Teams desktop client application and let us feel free to know your updated result.

• Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’, or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.

• Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams

• Once in the directory, you’ll see a few of the following folders:

From ‘Application Cache’, go to Cache and delete any of the files in the Cache location.

“%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache”

From ‘Blob_storage’, delete any files that are located in here if any. “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage”

Within ‘Cache’, delete all files “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache”

Within ‘databases’, delete all files “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases”

Within ‘GPUCache’, delete all files “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache”

Within ‘IndexedDB’, delete the .db file “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB”

Within ‘Local Storage’, delete all files “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage”

Lastly, from ‘tmp’, delete any file “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp”

I contacted my institution's Microsoft administrator and he did some digging. He said the problem would arise right after you create a channel, possibly because it's still loading up. He said to return to it later and it should work. I returned to it the next day and it worked fine. Not quite sure what the time frame is, but I hope this helps some.

I was working on a Mac, but my colleagues who had the same problem were using Windows machines.

I know this is an old post, but in case anyone comes across it.

Those folders should be in the ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Cache  on the Mac side.

Use Finder and "go to folder" in the menu bar for the path. For simple in that box, just type ~/Library and navigate the folder manually.
