Outlook something wrong with one of your data files - new profile does not work

Office 365 trying to open outlook.

Error message "Something is wrong with one of your data files and Outlook needs to close. Outlook might be able to fix your file. Click OK to run the inbox repair Tool."

I have tried the repair tool on all the ost files on the computer.

I have tried to reinstall office 365.

I have tried the online repair for 365.

Online guides say to use the Control Panel mail setup to create a new profile - I have done this.

I have the Prompt for a profile to be used selected.

I still get the exact same error. there is no prompt for which profile to use.

How do i fix this?

Found the solution here

1.  Right click the Windows Start button and click Run.

2.  Type Regedit and press Enter

3.  Navigate to the registry path:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\PST

4.  Delete these two registry keys if the exist:

"LastCorruptStore"="C:\\Users\\user.REDMOND\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Outlook\\*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"

"PromptRepair"=dword:00000001

5.  Restart Outlook
