I cannot post a new message on the insider now.  when I get to the pc/mobile choice it jumps to a new screen for a new message.  I can only post an answer to another message...  hmmmm. sorry for posting here but I need guidance on this problem.  chas

I want to post a message that my xbox controller does not let me boot with build 14291.  I just get a little white box in the center of the screen with colored lines through it.  I want to post on the pc side because I have windows 10 on my laptop and I can't post about this problem.  maybe two problems?  chas

Found the problem, for some reason msconfig switched to Selective startup and not Normal Startup. By fiddling with this for a few seconds I was able to get Normal startup saved, so when I rebooted the problem with the bad icon showing no connection was solved.

Please pay no attention to the trolls. I am here to help, and nothing else.

Minor glitch?

This is a known issue if you are running Hyper-V (if you are doing Windows Phone development and you use the Device Emulator, that runs using Hyper-V).

Microsoft needs to have a separate group for PC and Phones. This is getting tiresome.

I know. My response addresses PC not phone. If you are running hyper-V on your PC, that will cause the Network icon to show a red X even though your network is working.
