Changing Language in Forza Horizon 4

Hello everyone.

I want Forza to be in English and not in my native language (it might be weird, but that is what I want)

There is no option in the game to change it, and my language settings in Windows are set to English, except for the location which was needed to be set to my actual location for the store to work properly.

My question is, is there any way to change the language?

Thank you,

Ben

Interesting but great request Ben, I think this question is more fitting for the dev group for Forza Horizon. They might have their own support site or forums that you can present your question and suggestion and they might be able to add that into future updates to the game.

Check out their support page here https://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/support.

Good luck

You need to change your location in United Kingdom or United States with your Xbox settings. Only in this way can you get it in another language

The answer from M3tal Daz3 is currently the only working method to change the language.

But keep in mind that this will change the language across the whole device and therefor can affect your user experience.

Feel free to address this issue to the developers, as this is game related.

Vakmix,

Have you tried to go into the settings of the game? If it doesn't allow you to change the language in their settings, the game is programmed by region but many people speak different languages in the US. Just a heads up if you change your region it will only let you do this once every 90 days. If your profile is in another location your local store will not work.

Contact Playground Games if you have any questions.

Hei, I had the same situation. I could fix it just changing the language of my computer.

Hi, it is possible that your language is not supported in the game. If you're sure your language is in the game, you can help it in this way:

Xbox One - How to change the language settings
Press the menu key of the controller.
Go to Settings> System.
Go to the Location section and select "Language & location".
Use the "Language" menu to make your selection.

Another twist on this theme - I got my sound back by going to the language setting and telling it to save (without making changes since I want to keep American English). It then acts the same as if you had made changes and restarts the XBox One. Once I got back into Horizon 4 I had the normal engine, tire, and SFX sounds again. Let's see how long this lasts. By the way, my sound issue was not related to the split-screen problem that has been blamed for most of the sound loss. I've never played multiplayer so I guess there are possible multiple ways to lose your sound in this game. I hope this adds to the possible workarounds until a solid solution is found by the developers.

Hi Ben,

i don´t think it is weird at all. I was surprised how bad the language localisation is with this game. The Intro itself is embarassing. No one would talk or express himself like that in my country. So yes, where is the Change language Option in the Menu or in the Store??? I can´t be that hard. Urgh!
