What happens when you finish Dead Money, can you keep your stuff?

So I'm in the middle of Dead Money, I just got into the Sierra Madre and I can't stand this addon anymore.  What happens when you finish Dead Money, do you get to keep the stuff you accumulated during the DLC and go onto the next one?

If it doesn't let you save your stuff I feel like just moving onto the next DLC after reverting to a different save.

Once you finish it and watch the final cutscene, all of your stuff will be dumped on you.  Which, most likely, will make you WAY over-encumbered.  Which means unless you have the perk to Fast Travel while over-encumbered, you'll have to put your stuff in something, go to your safe-house, deposit everything, then go back and pick up the rest.  You'll keep everything you obtained during the DLC.

I've played through twice, both with and without the long haul perk. Got out with all the gold on both, and it's a short walk to the exit from the fountain so it's not a problem even when overloaded.

Not talking about the walk from the fountain to the exit, I'm talking from where you exit the DLC to the real Mojave Desert.

I've only done it once, and I was paranoid to leave anything in the bunker you exit into, so I walked all the way to the NCR camp nearby and put everything there.

Why? Elijah's workshop is setup for you to use as a base....on my play without the long haul I left most of the gold there and nothing happened to it.

Yeah, I didn't know that at the time.  I downloaded the DLC literally probably 10 minutes after it went on Xbox and played it right away.  (BTW, had a HORRIBLE character for that DLC.  A Sniper does not do well when stripped of its guns and given melee weapons...) and I was afraid that if I put all the stuff in that workshop and leave, I wouldn't be able to enter the workshop again.

:) ok....you do know the wall safe gets resupplied every 3 days, and the lab set gives out more ghost residue every 24 hours?

Wall safe?  I heard something about getting vouchers out of the safe and then using them as stairs since if you drop them you can climb ontop of them.  Like paintbrushes in Oblivion.  And I didn't really pay attention to that DLC.  Actually I've only finished one of the three DLCs.  Finally made a well-rounded character I'm going to max out and do all the DLCs.  I did do all the achievements for Dead Money though.

Wait, the wall safe next to Elijah's workshop gets resupplied?

(:

I know where I'm going now..

Yeah, what's up with the vouchers anyways? Do they do anything besides float when you drop them?

I'm pretty sure you can only collect the vouchers from the wall safe if you unlocked them while gambling at the S.M. Casino. Anyway... each voucher is worth 1,000 chips, you can turn them in at the vending machine in Elijah's workshop.
