Unable to download Annihilation Map Pack via code. Status Code: 80190826

I purchased a code specific for this map pack from Gamestop and upon redeeming it and choosing to download it I get the message "Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. Status Code: 80190826" I would try again later except friends of mine were able to download with no problem. What gives?

well here is a question is your account region match the prepaid code's region?

with gamestop blackops codes you need to physically live in the region you purchased them in

I live in USA and this says it's for the English (EN) version, which I assume is for USA, not Europe, right?

Err not sure what you mean. But it would be United States not Canada or anything. It's for the english version of Black Ops which I have. I don't get any error about regions or anything. Unless there's a British version or something but why would my local Gamestop (I live in Florida in the US btw) have a code for an European version?

territories are having issues

activision quoted to having said some invalid region errors will be fixed tonight

Same happen to me, i call activision at 3:00pm, and they said they have not release the maps yet for puerto rico.We should have them by 9:00pm today.

yes but it may be a gateway resolving issue that creating false region errors

To clarify, you are getting this error when trying to redeem the code correct, not in downloading?

When I redeem the code I get the prompt to download, but once I choose to download it I get the error.

I live in Puerto Rico and I have been trying to download the pack since 8:00 am and all I get when I press "Download" is "this item isn't available from your current location" and it's driving my crazy. BTW I got the specific code from Gamestop too.
