I recently purchased Tropico 3 on Xbox Live , downloaded and installed it. It worked fine for a couple of days and now freezes after 5 minutes of play on any island. I would like to know how to resolve this problem or failing this how I can go about getting a refund. I was reluctant to buy a game without getting a disc, and with good reason it would appear.

You should delete it and re-install it and see if that works. Also, you cannot get a refund on any item you purchase on Xbox Live.

I will try your suggestion, thanks for your reply. However if it does not work I am entitled to a refund in the UK as the game is not fit for purpose nor is it of satisfactory quality, Microsoft can not exclude these terms from any contract.

If you want to try to get a refund, I suggest calling Xbox Support directly. I'm not sure if you will actually get a refund, but it is worth a try. The number you need to call is: 020 7365 9792 or 0800 587 1102.

Hey mate, I'm afraid that there are no refunds for content purchased from the marketplace. Please take a few minutes to check out this guide for freeze issues.
