Open tray error

I've used the troubleshooting section on the xbox forum but when i have it still says open tray its been like that since the morning of 21st May 2011 what is wrong with my xbox ive tried your advice for 5 of my games but still nothing can you help

Hello the best advice I could give is to check this post by Mister Fitzer OP.

However if none of the troubleshooting steps help you will likely have to have your console repaired/serviced. If you have had it under 1 years from the original purchase date this is free, otherwise there is a charge for it.

You can arrange a repair by phoning support for your region, if you do need one.
