Looking... <3

I'm looking for a recommendation on which of these two should I buy before either Assassin's Creed Revelations or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim comes out.

So, should I pick Assassin's Creed 1 or The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion?

Oblivion. If you go back and play the first Creed after playing the last 2 you'll be disappointed.

[/quote]I'd say forget both of them and get a game by Platinum Games (the same team that made Bayonetta), that game would be Vanquish, GoW was heavily influenced by another game from the creator of Platinum Games and they in-turn based Vanquish on GoW.

I'd recommend Oblivion but be sure to get the GotY edition for the extra dlc "on disc"

My knowledge of The Elder Scrolls games is pretty weak but I'm sure each game can stand on it's own merit. You don't need to have played the previous game/s to understand what's going on.

Assassins Creed on the other hand, isn't like that, the story is woven pretty tightly into the games and to really appreciate them (and understand them) you need to play the first three games (or you can read a story overview). The original game is certainly weaker than AC II and AC Brotherhood though so expect some rough edges.

I haven't played any Fallout games prior to the 360 so I know nothing about them but Fallout 3 and New Vegas can be played without any prior knowledge of the series.

I could not get into Elder Scrolls dont really know why as oblivion was voted the best game to come to the xbox 360 generation. Not really a fan of fantasy games, I really like the Fallout series. I love the 50's post apocalyptic theme.

I have completed all of the Assassins Creed games and I am really look forward to the 4TH game. Now there is multiplay added to Assassins thats would be my choice to buy.
