Game Marketplace trying to charge me more than listed price?

So I'm trying to purchase Assassins Creed Brotherhood on Game Markeplace, and on the main page it advertises the game as being $29.99 but when I click to purchase, suddenly the price jumps up to $59.95. I thought it could be localization issues, but I was logged in on my account before I visited the page, so surely it would have taken the local currency into account? If I didn't know any better, I'd think that it was justMS being sneaky, since the purchase page only lists the price in small, light grey text. Anyone know what's going on?

This has happened to me before with an arcade game. It is against consumer law to advertise something at a lower price than what it is. Take a picture of the advertised price and also what price they are trying to charge you, then give MS support a call.

In Australia, you would legally be able to get the game for free since the price was advertised wrong, but personally I would just demand the game for the advertised price. As I said they are legally obliged to sell it at the advertised price.

If they for some reason say no, make sure to get a reciept number and the support representatives name, then come back here. Let me know how you go.

Greetings, EvilToothpicky. Does the region to which your account is registered match the region in which you currently are located? If there are any discrepancies you may encounter account issues. I would recommend getting in touch with phone support about your situation. They should be able to shed light on the issue and assist you further.
