Do you want light gun games on Kinect?

Kinect is considered its own console; and what better way to support this console then to start out with some violent light gun games that could come to the Arcade as Kinect ARCADE games. These games are rated E to M.  Time Crysis series  House of the Dead series  Virtua Cop series  Carnevil   That weird fire fighting game that currently is only in Arcades  GOTCHA!  a light gun game for NES  Operation Wolf    Police 911  Area 51  Maximum Force   Aliens  Revolution X  Terminator 2

Hogans Ally   and -wishfull thinking- Duck Hunt  and tons of Japanese  only light gun games that have never  reached America or anywere else for that matter.

Surely this defeats the whole purpose of Kinect?  You know, to give the gamer a peripheral free experience, to allow the user to connect to games through movement alone.   This sounds more on par with Sony's Move than it does with Kinect.

This was done in the 80s with a Saturday morning tv show. The show was pulled after a kid shot their neighbor when he couldn't find is light gun and used his dads pistol instead. It may sound like a good idea but a child will use anything they can find.

[/quote]What a completely useless post. I'm so sick of people trying to shift the blame away from their parenting failures. The fact of the matter is, some parents are bad and some kids are stupid. Stupid kids with bad parents, hurt people. This is an irrefutable fact and it's going to happen regardless of what games, tv shows, or movies a kid is subjected to. Not to mention, while there are stupid kids out there, most of them are far more intelligent than people give them credit for. A kid would literally have to be mentally handicapped to point a heavy metal gun at a TV set and pull the trigger. And frankly, I doubt this event that you just described even happened.

I guess if you can shape your body into a gun.  Because remember the slogan, "YOU are the controller"
