Can't Get PS3 Controller to Work on Windows 10

I'm not sure what the community here is like, but before I get any backlash for discussing any Sony based products, I'd just like to say that I'm using my PS3 controller to  emulate an Xbox 360 controller,  which is why I'm asking this question here. Also, after asking this question on the Microsoft support forum, I was told to try asking here as well. Anyways, here's the question, copied and pasted:

"In case anybody's wondering, this is the tutorial that I'm using: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpSaOJJIun8

I am attempting to use SCPServer to get my PS3 controller to work on my Windows 10 PC and it is not working. From past experience, I have managed to get controllers to work on Windows 10 using the tutorial listed above. Although, on the computer that I am currently trying to use PS3 controllers on, it is not working. Before upgrading to Windows 10 (It was on Windows 7 before), I did manage to get controllers to work fine. I installed everything included in the package of the video, although I think the problem might be the Xbox 360 accessories (You have to make your PS3 controller emulate an Xbox 360 controller to get this to work, by the way). Upon starting up my computer and checking task manager, the Xbox 360 accessories seem to start up like normal. Usually when I check Devices and Printers, two Xbox 360 controller logos will appear, although in this case, they do not."

Sorry again for this, but the problem seems to have gone away on its own. Also, you can't necessarily uninstall SCPServer as the one provided in the video that I linked to is what I think you would call a 'portable' version.
