Xbox Freezing and Disc Tray Making Weird Noises

Hello, I am UnkemptLyric868. I have been with the Xbox 360 since its second year out, and I don't need the generic answers like, "have you tried turning it on," or "Have you cleaned the disk?"  I am currently having a problem with my games freezing (even those that are downloaded to my hard drive) and the Disc Tray makes this horrilbe screech as it is opening and closing. They are two different problems, but I was hoping to get help on both, but any help will be much appreciated.

Xbox Freezing:

My Xbox keeps on freezing. It doesn't always happen, and it is erratic. I can be swinging my sword and blasting fireballs at a dragon in Skyrim and have no problems (besides the lag that Bethesda and console gaming is infamous for) but the moment I get called a milk drinker the game freezes (no, I am not an over emotional human who makes silent curses to on their Xbox because of an NCP). However, it will happen the other way around sometimes, so I don't believe it is a fact that too much is happening. Another example is that I will try and load a downloaded game. The one it happens the most on is Mafia 2. It will get to the loading screen where it gives me a bit of fun, yet utterly useless, information (sorry, I don't care about the Empire Bay Cannons) and then freezes right before I get to see Vito and his sexy sleeping garments. This just started about three days ago. I've cleared out the system cache, but with no avail. I installed Mafia 2 again, same problem. If anyone has a solution, please tell me. I really don't feel like getting a new Xbox (warranty is out and if it is broken, this piece of *** is leaving my house)

Disc Tray:

In the past two weeks, my Xbox has been making this screeching sound as the disc tray opens and closes. I have no clue what caused this, and it is annoying as well as harmful to my games. It seems to just be a bit off the track, and the Xbox is a bit too complicated to do the old redneck fix (throw some duck tape in there with maybe a thimble or some buttons) and I have no clue what to do.

Hey there! No problem! Let's take a look at this so first you need to find out what model Xbox you currently own.

Here is a Troubleshooting page here: support.xbox.com/.../disc-drive-solution

Now I went through and found the fifth step: support.xbox.com/.../disc-drive-solution

Remove any memory Units or USB Flash Drives

Now that was probably not linking my actual page I was seeing but I also found this for you:

support.xbox.com/.../xbox-360-screen-freeze

Let me know if you need something more. But I would also recommend unplugging everything and wait about 10-15 mins to just completely cool down then plugging it all back it in another outlet even if it's the other port of the same socket.

WHoops forgot this!

You can remove the faceplate to manually open the disc drive and you should be able to see if anything is in there. I've used like cotton swaps to clean out the inside of you could try using some of that keyboard air spray to clean out any dust or foreign objects.
