tritton kama stereo adapter headset echo issues

Been having some issues recently and im not sure what the best settings are for the adapter how loud i should have it etc basically i tend to put it more towards the bottom on the left side of the adaper so chat volume is louder than game volume and on the right side of the adapter basically the same tho if i was to press it once more i would hear the beep and not be able to hear anyone or game sound long story short when in parties with mates they say they hear themselves echoing back threw my headset and its really bugging me not sure what to do so was wondering what the best settings are thanks in advance if anybody takes the time to read and reply

Oh. Your headset sounds like it needs repair. I would contact the maker of the headset to see if it's still under warranty.
