Stop 360 S from outputting audio to TV

Hi, I have my 360 S connected via HDMI but it outputs audio to both my TV and amp (via optical) - can I stop this? Just want the amp to get the audio

Yeah, but it's hardly ideal. Should have an option to stop it. My PS3 does and other HDMI devices.

My Samsung TV has a feature called Internal Mute I think. It knows when to mute the sound and when not to. Check if you've got some sort of feature like that.

If not, then you'll just have to mute it when you don't want the sound coming from you TV.

Or just use the amp for TV sound as well. Then turn the TV volume down, and forget about it. .

Can't you just select external sound output on the TV?

I have no idea? I'm using a Panasonic V20 Plasma TV. Any ideas if it can do that?

I've read around 4 posts in the last 5 minutes with you whining and slating everything and everyone. Get a grip, they've told you to mute your tv, press the button on the tv remote and get over it. Ideal or not, it's the simple solution which you could have done without making this thread, and carried on this BS.
