Well Today I was going to play Xbox for the first time in 7 Months and When I went to log in I had to do a System update because it was so long since the last time I was online. So I did the update I went to log on to my account and its making me change my name ? I've had this GT for 2 years now and had no problems ? My GT: Is *** its just a name I wen't by online for a while now and its my nick name is there something I can do to save my account name ? I haven't changed it yet. I'm currently in the ARMY and have no way of waiting on the phone to talk to someone for 45 minutes.

Its not suspended its making me change my gamertag as soon as I long on in order to play and I'm trying to avoid that.

I can see why you would need a forced gamertag change, that word is not a nice one and breaks the code of conduct.

Okay, don't change it just yet, you need to post on the "Why was my account suspended?" forum, and quickly ask them why they want you to change your account name. If they say it is for a specific reason, then you have no choice, but it sounds like this is just a mistake...Hopefully they can cancel the forced name change.

Oh I see what thing means, Your gamer tag violates the code of conduct that's why your going through the change when you updated your system. I realize its your nickname but you'll have to change it.
