how to clear a power surge on hub port

Power surge on hub port pops up.  I  follow the directions pulling out the usb connection then select reset. however sometimes the report pops up again even when I do not put the usb connection in again.

 

Is there a update I need to preclude this malfunction message?

Did you make any software or hardware changes on the computer prior to this issue?

If you have any unnecessary external device connected to the machine, you may unplug them & check if the issue persists.



Method 2

You may check for any driver update available via Windows Updates and check if that fixes the issue.
