I would suggest you to run the fixit from the following Microsoft article and check if it helps.

Error code 0x80000FFF when you download updates on a Windows Vista-based computer by using Windows Update or Microsoft Update: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946414

 

If the steps in the above Microsoft article did not help, then try the steps provided in the following Microsoft article and check if it helps.
