AS per the description I understand you are getting “internal error: gedit3” while using AutoCAD LT 2002.
Which version of Windows 7 is installed on your computer?
Let’s try these methods to get this problem resolved.
Method 1:
There could be possibility of some background program conflicting with the program, let’s put the computer in clean boot and see if the issue persists.

Method 2:
If the above method does not solve the problem, most probably this could be the compatibility issue with Windows 7.
We can try to run the program in Compatibility mode and check.
