Bluetooth upon sending file to nokia n73 mobile.. "A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network"

1-I want to send files through Usb Bluetooth directly to my Nokia N73 mobile as I was doing so previously with Windows XP before I have changed my operating system to Windows 7 SP1 32bit!!!!

2-I got the following message from Windows 7 upon trying to send a file to my mobile (Nokia N73) “Windows was unable to transfer some files ... A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network”...

3-Also, you may need to know that my brother’s mobile (Nokia 6300) is working fine and can send and receive files via Bluetooth to and from my PC with Windows 7!!!!

4-Also, my Nokia N73 can send files to my PC via blue tooth but not the reverse as I got the previous error message.

5-I have sent e-mail to Nokia customer care and got the following response "Regarding to your concern we would like to inform you that we need to get the windows Xp on your PC as the Bluetooth drivers on it more compatible with the n73 Bluetooth technology"

You may  temporarily disable security software and check if you can access the shared folders.

Note: Make sure you turn-on the security software and Windows Firewall later once you are done with the test.

But and this a big but..

 

What you suggested Did Not work at all !!

Hi,

 

1. What type of file is being transferred?

 

2. What type of file are you sending?

 

Some phones only allow specific types of files to be transferred to it through Bluetooth.

 

I would suggest you to connect the bluetooth USB to a different computer and check if you are able to send and receive files to your phone.
