January 3, 2018 Security Update for Windows (KB4056892)

I have tried to install this update on 2 different desktop computers 3 times each and each time it caused the units to NOT reboot....

I wound up having to run "F10" to Automatically Repair the boot sector on each computer. This caused the update install to fail. 

Error code: 0x800f0845 each time on each computer.

I am running an AMD M4A78 PRO and AMD M4N78 Pro motherboard on the 2 desktops which are standard BIOS systems and NOT EFI BIOS.

The CPU's in both are AMD Athlon 64X2 5600+ Brisbane's with 16 GB of RAM in each desktop. They both run extremely well and are up to date with drivers and program updates as well.

I read the CNET, ZD Net and etc. and tried to update accordingly, but it failed as noted above. 

I have examined all information available on MS Support and could NOT find the above error code listed anywhere or how to repair it!

Could really use some help on this one!
