0x800f0922 KB4338819 fails to install

KB4338819 downloaded from the microsoft update catalog with error 0x800f0922 .

First time was through windows update, after that failed at 95 % with message, we could not install updates, rolling back.

Download KB4338819 on another pc and it installed fine as well as the flash player and malicious software removal tool.

2tb c drive with 999gb free so not a space issue but two partitions exist, f 455mb and h 2gb (part of c).

This pc is on a local account but getting daily messages to log in to a microsoft account.

Answer

Had tried the standalone update after wa failed.

Installed mini partition tool, deleted the 2gb partition, extended the c drive to suck up

the extra space.

Ran check disk, found 4kb occupied in bad sectors, fixed.

Ran the standalone kb again, completed 100%
