Yea, just go the MS 3600 to work again. Like everyone else, it was working great until recently, I suspect a MS update caused the problem. I read on previous messages that this trick worked - unchecking the Bluetooth power setting in Device Manager, Bluetooth,
Intel Wireless Bluetooth properties, Power Management. Unchecked - Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Rebooted the laptop and still didn't work.
Next steps and I'm not sure what really fixed it:
Left the Save power box unchecked
Turned on Airplane mode
Turned off Airplane mode. I noticed the Bluetooth Mouse setting showed Paired but NOT connected.
Removed the mouse from Bluetooth list
Reinstalled Mouse on Bluetooth
It worked.... I restarted three more times and it stayed connected.
