Bluetooth mouse paired, connected but not works in Windows 10

On Windows 10 desktop, and Lenovo Win10 laptop, "Settings" shows a Bluetooth mouse as paired and connected, but mouse not works.
Install and reinstall of the mouse and Bluetooth drivers does not help.

On another Windows 10 PC this mouse works without problem.
Any ideas, dear Community?

I had the same problem tonight.  Mouse showing as "Other Device" and not as Mouse.  Didn't work at all.  Here's what finally worked.

1. Delete Mouse device or devices in Devices and Printers.  (I ended up with several copies).

2. On Bluetooth setting screen, disable Bluetooth and re-enable it.

3. Re-add the mouse as Bluetooth device.

Hope this works for some of you.

Same issue here.

Mouse is Logitech MX Master 2S, I'm running Windows 10 1809 (October update) on HP Spectre X360.

Pairing the mouse is no problem, but once it's paired, nothing happens. It's just not doing anything, I've checked and made sure all drivers are up to date.

I suspect this has something to do with a recent Windows security update.

Yea, just go the MS 3600 to work again.  Like everyone else, it was working great until recently, I suspect a MS update caused the problem.  I read on previous messages that this trick worked - unchecking the Bluetooth power setting in Device Manager, Bluetooth, Intel Wireless Bluetooth properties, Power Management.  Unchecked - Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.  Rebooted the laptop and still didn't work.

Next steps and I'm not sure what really fixed it:

Left the Save power box unchecked

Turned on Airplane mode

Turned off Airplane mode.  I noticed the Bluetooth Mouse setting showed Paired but NOT connected.

Removed the mouse from Bluetooth list

Reinstalled Mouse on Bluetooth

It worked....  I restarted three more times and it stayed connected.
