Original Title: exfat
I have an audio system that will allow me to play music stored on USB in file format FAT 12/16/32. I bought a drive, loaded music on it and it played well. I decided to format the drive and reload my music with more folders to allow myself to select by genre, etc.
I formatted using windows 10, loaded music and my player will no longer play music from this drive. I played music on my PC, no problems. I played music on my player with a different drive and all is fine with it.
I started up an older computer with Windows XP and tried to format the drive but XP would not format the drive.
I'd like an informed opinion as to whether or not you think the exFAT format would prevent my player from being able to use this drive. If so how can I go about formatting it to FAT32?
