unable to install intel Bluetooth application"there is a problem with windows installer package"

As I understand that you are not able to install Intel proset/wireless software for bluetooth(R) technology.

This happens due to the following reasons:

Registry Entries of the Bluetooth software still in the computer blocking installation

Remaining bluetooth related files on the computer.

Please follow the below method to remove the traces and then try to reinstall the software:

Method 1: uninstall the program from control panel

Press windows key +R together.

Type appwiz.cpl in the run windows and click ok

This will display all the installed programs

Please check for Intelproset/wireless software for bluetooth(R)

If you find the program uninstall it.

If you are unable to remove the program from control panel follow method 2

Method 2: uninstall using Device manager

Press windows key +R together.

Type devmgmt.msc in the run windows and click ok

Device manager will open

Please select Bluetooth by expanding the list

Right click and uninstall it.

Method 3: Uninstall programs using fix it  

This will automatically remove all the traces and folders related to the particular software that you want to uninstall from the computer.

Click run now on this article

Install the Fix it and please select uninstall when prompted

It will display the list of software’s installed.

Select Intel proset/wireless software for bluetooth(R)

This will remove all the program related traces and then once it is complete reboot and install the Bluetooth software.

Note: please select the right application because this fix it will completely remove the application related files even from windows installer.
