Adding numbers together using numerology math

I want to be able to put a 4 digit number in B:15 E:15, G:15 J:15 L:15 O:15 and Q15: T:15 and have it add 3175 10 times using what is called numerology math from B:16, B:18, B:20 and so on down to B:34 and over to Q:34.  Basically when you add 2 numbers together you do not carry over any digits.  So 8+9= 7 not 17.  5+5=1 not 10, 3+3=6, 7+6=3 not 13 and so on.

Hi,

See the working version on my Onerdrive called Numerology.xlsx

Note you made a mistake in your description. you said

So 8+9= 7 not 17.  5+5=1 not 10, 3+3=6, 7+6=3 not 13 and so on.

In this system 5+5=0 and not 1

The basic formula is this.

=(B15+B16)-(10*(B15+B16>=10))

I want to be able to add  any 3 digit number in cells B:15, F:15, J:15 N:15 and add 317

to the other numbers all the way down to BCD:35 through NOP:35 using what is call numerology math .

 You do not carry over any numbers .  So, 7+8=5 and not 15, 9+9=8 and not 18, 5+5=1 not 10 and 4+4=8 and so on

Then I want to add 123 row the 3 digit numbers that are in TUV:AF AG AH 15  all the way down to row 35 like the 317

is this possible to do?

This seems like a variation on your previous post that was answered by DanaD. In B37 enter

=MOD(B15+B16,10)

The mod function returns the modulus of a number i.e. the remainder of a number after division by another number.

 e.g. 5 mod 2 = 3; 13 mod 8 = 5

Have you marked Danas other post as helpful? :-)
