I've tried sfc /scannow

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Zune and itunes.

I really like Zune but this is driving me insane.

How can I get this stupid visual studio 2008 run time to stop blowing up?

Merely reinstalling Zune does nothing to help this issue.

Was the Zune software working in the past?

Has anything with your system changed since this error started occurring?

When exactly is this error presenting itself?

Have you checked your recycle bin to see if the file was deleted?

Have you verified that all drivers are currently up to date? Control Panel > Device Manager

Have you utilized the registry checker tool ?
