How do I delete a User created template in Outlook 2010?

I have tried two methods of removing these out dated user templates. I have tried searching through windows explorer and I receive the "Search has 0 results". I have tried going through the developer and Forms Manager function, this will only display Personal Forms and our templates are saved under the User Templates In file system location. I really have no clue as to what to try next. I need to delete the old templates and create new one in their place.

Answer

Hi,

By default Outlook templates are saved in the following location.
C:\Users\ <user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

Note:  Show hidden folders, if you’re unable to view ‘AppData’ folder.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Show-hidden-files

You may delete the template from the specified location if found and re-create new one.

If you're unable to find the template files, you may search for it by its extension (*.oft) and see if it helps.

Hope the above information helps. Reply with the result for further assistance.

Thank you.
