entourage dns import

I'm trying to set up Entourage as my email program on my Imac.  So I'm trying to import emails from Hotmail and to set up the account.  I put in my same email address and password that I get into my Hotmail account.  However when I go through the steps in "Account Setup Assistant" it fails and I get the following message.

Verification Failed: "Entourage cannot find the server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in the Account Settings, and that your DNS settings in the Network pane of System Preferences are correct." (-3176 )

Some of your account settings are incorrect. Click the left arrow and verify the items highlighted in red. To complete setup without verifying your account settings, click the right arrow.

I've tried to do it manually with the same results.

In most cases, this error is due to an incorrect mail server. To ensure you have the correct server settings, this KB explains exactly how to configure a Hotmail account in Entourage:
