Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10 Technical preview.

I suggest you to place the computer in Clean boot and check if issue persists.

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

Note: After clean boot troubleshooting steps, refer to the section "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot" in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.

If issue still persists, I suggest you to run SFC scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files

Run the System File Checker (SFC) scan to fix any corrupted files. Follow these steps:

Hope this information is helpful. Please do let us know if you need further assistance, we’ll be glad to assist you.

One issue is that you have not checked the forum lately.

This is a known error and has been reported in Feedback.  Reported here a number of times.

The easiest way past this is to click the OK and let the computer continue.

That is definitely EASY.

It doesn't solve the problem, does it?

I love using unstable systems. That's why I would go production on W10.

Obviously, it is not a KNOWN error, else it would have been fixed by now.

What is not obvious is how many forums I have checked.

Do u have a thread with an answer in it?

This is a Known error and it is very minor so they may not be spending much time on it as there are bigger things that they need to work on.

Easier to just click on the OK and things proceed as normal.

Been reported not necessarily the same number but still the same error.

Sorry but could you explain what you mean? windows image on taskbar right? I'm on a desktop, is that some tablet mode thing? would like to use whatever you're using since I need to use reset button to restart as it is now, doesn't help clicking "OK" just and endless "Restarting" screen then.
