my map will not load on minecraft (xbox)

i click load map and it take a little while then it shows the trial map in the background and it keeps showing the trial map.at the bottom of the screen it has A select              B back but they do nothing someone please help !!!!!!!!!!

i had problems loading a map before. i saved way up on a mountain looking over a large area, it took forever to load but finnally did. ive also heard if you save in the nether it wont load, but dont know if its true
