Memory issues with downloading new map packs

OK we have tried to resolve this a number of ways and are still experiencing issues.  Does anyone know how to resolve?

 

1.  Bought points and they work fine however once you download, Xbox says there is not enough memory.

2.  Deleted saved game data and this did not help release any data.986MB needed to download.

3.  Purchased (brand new in packaging) a max memory 4GB and the same issue has occurred........ and the amount of memory left on it to save to has depleted!, without having added anything to it (it just went down in number available as soon as it was plugged in).  I have read all the bumph that came with it and cannot fathom where we may have gone wrong........

 

Can anyone help as my son is desperate to try and use his new purchase but it seems we have come to a standstill!!

so you can always use usb drives

for upto 16gigs

cancel the download and go back to download history

 

datel max memory cards?

 

they are not supported by xbox MS essentially baned those devices and replaced them with USB support instead

you can buy a regular USB drive instead
