Hi there Beastlee 831. Are you using a hard drive with your Xbox? Can you try downloading the game onto either another Xbox hard drive or a USB flash drive if you have one or the other available? USB Flash Support for 360

Hello, xBEASTLEE 831x,
This seems to be an issue with your XBOX 360's Hard Drive. Since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an original XBOX game it requires that an original XBOX hard drive be attached in order to play the game successfully. It freezing suggests that the files that
are on the hard drive in a hidden partition are not working as they should be. I suggest trying another original XBOX hard drive to see if this alleviates the problem. You will not be able to download the game onto a USB Flash Drive and play it unfortunately.

Never mind about that I have solved the problem my san Andreas was on a corrupted file and I had to clear the cache in order to play the game I am having fun with it but when I play another mission to save a girl from a fire when I get her home she goes running off to pull people out of the car and beating them up and my player just sits thier and I can't pause it or move.

Hey xBEASTLEE 831x! Can you tell me a bit more about this second issue? Does this only occur when you play this specific mission? Has this occurred multiple times? The more information the better!

Hey miss kleo!
Yes this only occurs when I'm on one mission the CPU goes and starts to beat up everyone when I drop her off then my player just sits there and I can't move or pause the game so it forces me to go to the dashboard and restart my GTA SA
I've tried the mission again and again multiple times but it does the same thing.

I have a similar problem where I have purchased and downloaded San Andreas, but an error report pops up and tells me to redownload it (I have redownloaded several times now). I have an Xbox 360 Slim with a 250 GB Microsoft hard drive. Do I need an original Xbox hard drive just to play a downloaded game?

Hello Limb reaper41
Are you able to play you're San Andreas or is it not letting you even play the first mission?
If so you may have to delete you're San Andreas and clear you're Xbox cache you can clear the cache by going to SETTING - STORAGE (memory) - press Y while it tells u to select a hardrive then clear cache this will delete every update a game on you're Xbox has had for example any glitches updates on mw3 will have to be redownloaded

"The game could not start. Please download the game again"
If you receive this error when trying to play an original Xbox game, try the following steps:
•Clean the disc.
•Update your console software as per the URL:
support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-info
Note GTA SAN ANDREA is an original Xbox game, so you must have a hard drive(original HDD).
Please Let me know the outcome of the Issue.

I originally bought the Xbox Slim without the hard drive, but later I got a Microsoft brand 250 GB hard drive. Maybe this why I can't play original Xbox games? I don't understand why it would make a difference but I guess it could.
