Game invites

I'm having a problem inviting people to my game. Whenever I try to invite someone to my game, it won't let me. The words invite to game are grey even though I'm on multiplayer. Any suggestions?

 

There maybe a few reasons, first one to check is make sure the lobby isn't already full.


Another issue I know of is that some games won't let you invite friends into ranked matches. They do this I believe, to keep it all random for some reason. Can you invite your friend into either a private or player match? Try that just to make sure.

No, I can't invite anybody to any of my multiplayer games whatsoever. Even if I'm playing COD or Halo Reach.

Is your status set as appear offline? Check your privacy settings as well, just in case they have something to do with it.

No my status isn't set to offline and I haven't done anything wierd to my settings.

Please try recovering your Gamertag, to see if that allows you to invite other players. Also, is this happening with all players you try to invite, or only certain players?

Okay, I'm wondering if this may be an issue with your connection speed or NAT status. Can you please post the results of a speed test (you can run one at speedtest.net), and then let us know your NAT status when you run a connection test on your Xbox 360 console?
